This covers up to 10 employees and no deposit is required as all payments are made by Direct Debit. Special rates are available for members with over 10 employees.

TRAINING SCOTLAND LIMITED

All member licensees should be aware by now that to comply with the new Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 they will require to hold a Personal Licence Holder qualification.   The S.L.T.A. also supports the view that it is beneficial to have more than one Personal Licence Holder for each premises, to ensure compliance with the new Licensing regime is achieved at all times.  It goes without saying that there will be an overwhelming demand for such training courses and The S.L.T.A., working in partnership with Training Scotland Limited, based in Glasgow, has made special arrangements to provide members with the necessary training required.

How much will this cost?

  • The cost of training will be £90 per person.   This includes training costs, the exam costs and V.A.T.

Where are the courses held?

  • Courses can be held throughout Scotland.  For those members who require training outwith a 25 mile limit from Glasgow, a nominal charge will be applied to cover transport costs.   This charge will not exceed £15 per individual except where a flight or accommodation may be required.

When will the courses be held?

  • Once you have registered your interest in attending a course you will then be advised of when a course will be held in your area.  Groups of 10 are normally required and these can be arranged for you and fellow licensee members in your area.   Those registering an interest in one of the courses will then be contacted and a confirmed date will be given.

What do I do next?

  • Simply call 0131-225-5169/7287 and leave the rest to us.
